OBITUARY Shelley McQuality Davis October 18, 1981 – July 13, 2018 Shelley McQuality Davis, of Roanoke, Texas, passed away on July 13, 2018. She will forever and always be remembered as a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, friend and colleague to all that knew and loved her. She was proudly born on October 18, 1981 in Houston, Texas to her parents Mark and Delia McQuality.
Shelley was a graduate of J. Frank Dobie High School, class of 2000. Shortly thereafter, she met the love of her life, Skip Davis, whom she married in 2004. Together they rooted themselves in Roanoke, Texas, built their beautiful home, established their wonderful careers and raised their 2 precious sons, Lance and Landon.
Shelley’s greatest passion was tending to her family and making their house a home as their pillar of strength and love. She couldn’t have been more proud of her husband and both sons for all their accomplishments. She made everlasting and cherished memories traveling to countless beautiful destinations with them.
Her weekends were filled with activities such as attending Fellowship Church in Grapevine, serving as team mom for her son’s football team, the Ducks, where she never missed a practice or game, going on weekend motorcycle rides with her husband on their Harley, and seeking out only the best BBQ restaurants the state of Texas has to offer. Working diligently as Facilities Coordinator at the Game Stop Corporate Office for 13 years, Shelley delighted in her profession. There she met and befriended countless people with whom she laughed and joked with every day.
Shelley had a big personality and funny wit but was fearless, spoke her mind and was respected by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Those friends became part of her family in their own special way. Shelley is survived by her husband, Skip Davis of Roanoke, Texas, sons Lance Semon III and Landon Davis, parents Mark and Delia McQuality of Houston, Texas, sister Shannon Hartley, niece and nephew Ollie and Aiden Hartley of Rosenberg, Texas, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
