Sherry Lea Billings, 75 of Oaklandon, IN, passed away on May 3, 2019 in Indianapolis. She was born on January 29, 1944 in Rushville to the late John McCorkhill, SR. and Marjorie (Newman) McCorkhill.

Sherry was a 1962 graduate of Rushville High School. She married Robert Billings on July 8, 2017 and he survives. Sherry was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Greenfield for many years.

She was a caregiver for over 20 years of service. Sherry enjoyed shopping, reading, and jigsaw puzzles. In addition to her husband, Robert, she is survived by her son, James (Tracy) Hadley of Somerset, KY and daughter, Julie (Scott) Adams of Destin, Florida; brothers, John McCorkhill, Jr. of Virginia, Jack McCorkhill of Greensburg, Gregg McCorkhill of Muncie, Terry McCorkhill of Greensburg; sisters, Lonetta (Ray) Carnes of New Castle, Marleen (Ron) McKenzie of Arizona, and Penny Montgomery of Wilkinson.

She will also be missed by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Sherry is preceded in death by her parents, sons, John Albert Hadley and Jason Lee Hadley; sister, Sandra Rehme. Services will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 1 PM in Moster Mortuary, with Brother George Seats presiding.

Friends are welcome to visit the family from 11 AM until the time of service on Tuesday. Burial will be held in Manilla Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made out to Bethel Baptist Church in Greenfield.
