Sherry Dean Rice Wallace, 74, of Cedartown died on Monday, March 18, 2019 in Cartersville. Born in Cedartown on January 13, 1945 she was the daughter of the late Joe Brown Rice and the late Mary Jo Moore. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, Herbert Ledell Diamond; her sisters, Gail Rice Gable, and Kay Rice Troy; and her brother, Jackie Rice.

Survivors include her son and his partner, Scott Wallace and Jamie Wessinger; her daughters, Undra Lee and her husband, Bill Lee, Sundra Wright and her life partner, Donny Kirby, and Karen Hutchings and her husband, Pete Hutchings; her grandchildren, Heather Postell, Rebekuh Jacobs, Michael Postell, Hunter Hutchings, Grant Hutchings, and Gray Hutchings; and her great-grandchildren, Trae Labord, Asher Jacobs, and Kallie Jacobs. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with the Reverend Dr. Mark Jordan officiating. A private interment will follow.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
