Shirley A. Arthur, age 88, of Huron Township, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019 in the comfort of her home. Born on October 20, 1930 in Herrin, Illinois, she was the daughter of Fred and Gertrude (Ashoff) Turner. On June 15, 1952 she married Dickie Arthur.

She was employed with Meredith Counseling for 15 years and had also worked for Ray Hunter Florist until retiring. Shirley was a member of Huron Township Board of Review for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dickie F. Arthur, son Terry Arthur and sister Joanne Daniels.

She is survived by her devoted and loving husband Bill Toland; daughters Diana (Linda Hughes) Appleby of FL, Sharon (Keith) Long of KY and Nancy (Rupert) Miller of Longview, TX; granddaughter Emily Miller. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to Angela Hospice or Donor’s choice. Cremation has taken place.
