Shirley Ann Williams Patterson 1946 – 2019 Shirley Ann Williams Patterson was born September 24,1946 in Houston, Texas, the first-born daughter to Jack Williams and Ruth Lynch-Williams. Shirley departed this life on March 25, 2019 in Grapevine, Texas. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents Jack Williams and Ruth Lynch-Williams, her husband’s Roger Carroll Sr. and Charles Patterson.

Shirley is also preceded in death by her grandsons, Christopher Loren Moore and Thomas Harvey. Shirley is survived by her son Roger Dale Carroll Jr. and wife Jan, her daughters Diamond (Tammy Lyn Carroll) Mathena and husband Jimmy and Sherry Ann Carroll Harvey, her grandchildren Jennifer Pannell and husband Marcus, Tiffany Redenius, Andrew Moore, Heather Fuller, Alexis Fuller, Christine Harvey, Jessica Harvey, Mary Harvey and Corbett Harvey III, her great grandchildren Christopher (Dale) Teague, Dalton Pannell, Victoria Redenius, Isabelle Redenius, Nicole Harvey and two great grandsons on the way, her sister and brother-in-law Carolyn Williams Albers and Benny H. Albers and her brother Waymond Williams. Shirley is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Shirley was a loving, kind and generous to all who ever knew or met her. She loved her family with all of her heart. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and was so blessed to have them near to visit.

She loved the Lord, Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. While at Woodridge Nursing Home where she spent the last months of her life, she loved her fellow residents and was concerned with their health and happiness. She was truly a friend to all, and was loved by many.

The memory of her will live on in the hearts of her family and her many friends. Shirley has gone on to her reward in Heaven, where there is no more pain or suffering, and where there are no more tears.
