Obituary for Shirley Ann Cohen Shirley Ann Cohen, age 57, was born April 17, 1961 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Zackery Cohen and Rosie Cohen. Shirley went to be with her lord on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She leaves behind her legacy to 2 daughters; Kasheena Cohen, and Shaquida Cohen, 4 brothers; Zackery Cohen Jr., Joseph Cohen, Matthew Cohen, and Thomas Cohen, 5 sisters; Mayhester Liddle, Rhoda Milton, Janie Taliaferro, Jeannette Cohen, and Joann Cohen, 2 grandchildren; Xianni Pearson, and Xavion Brown, and a host of other family and friends. Shirley worked for the Community Alternative Program of Cherry Health for 27 years. She also have a Associates Degree in Culinary Arts and was known for her great cooking.

She had a great love for her grandchildren and was the best mother in the world. Shirley cared about everybody and was the best friend anyone can ask for. Public visitation will be held on Thursday, November 08, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Ivy K Gillespie Memorial Chapel, 1865 Eastern Avenue SE.
