Shirley J. (Thickey) Baker, 90, of Natrona Heights, PA died on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at her home. Shirley was born on Wednesday, February 22, 1928 in Natrona Heights to the late Walter W. and Ruby M. Klingensmith Thickey. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Natrona Heights and the Hilltop Hose Ladies Auxiliary, Natrona Heights.

She enjoyed watching the Steelers and Penguins. Shirley is survived by her children: Christopher A. (Ranae) Baker, Debbie K. (Joe Stanonis) Brukner and Amy J. (Stephen Clark) Baker all of Natrona Heights; 4 grandchildren: Sonya (Jason) Mohr, Amanda (Eric) Brukner, Amber (Craig) Baker and Josh (Lorie) Baker and 8 great grandchildren: Shelby, Tate, Emma, Wyatt, Madison, George, Shyanne, Violet and a great grandson Brody on the way; her siblings: William “Glenn” (Kathy) Thickey of Christopher Creek, AZ and Bruce Allen (Carol) Thickey of Carlisle, PA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Fred Baker (1991) and a brother: Gary D. Thickey.

Family and friends are invited from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at the ROBERT PETERS FUNERAL HOME INC. , 1521 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065 (724-224-7730) where a Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, May 4, 2018 with the Rev. Dawn Lynn Check, officiating.

Private burial will follow at Mount Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights, PA.
