Shirley Elaine Merz Born to Life September 1, 1934, the daughter of Edward and Gladys Sandmire Schricker; Born to Eternal Life and reunited with her beloved husband Richard J. Merz who preceded her in death on July 2, 2018, at Virginia Highlands in Germantown, Wisconsin. Shirley was the loving mother of Steven Merz, Linda (Tom) Fliss, Edward (Amanda) Merz and Joseph Merz and the proud grandmother of Jacob (Crystle) and Kyle (Samantha) Fliss. She was also the cherished great-grandmother of Alexandria and Bryce Fliss, and the special step-grandmother of Joshua and Justin Wrezinski; in addition to being survived by many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held for Shirley on Monday, July 9, 2018, from 10:00 in the morning until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 in the morning, all at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, N89 W16297 Cleveland Avenue, Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. Burial next to her husband Richard will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin following the Mass. “May she rest in peace.
