Mrs. Shirley Jean Carpenter Robinson, 78, of Hartsville, passed away Friday, June 29th, 2018, at McLeod Regional Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday in the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home with burial following in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Robinson was born in Pattons Run, Ohio, a daughter of the late Andrew & Nettie Williams Carpenter. Shirley attended Middendorf Baptist Church and was a lady who dearly loved her family. She loved to walk and never liked sitting still.

She is survived by her daughters, Valerie Goodale and husband, Randy of Hartsville, Kathy Lynn Mcclung and husband, Jimmy of Dillonvalle, Ohio, Frank Joseph Baricska, Jr. of Hartsville, Andrew William Baricska of Hartsville; grandchildren: Pamela Jean Smith, Stacey Jo Carman, Christopher Doty, Randie Lynn Kuhn and husband Tommy, B.J. Baricska and wife, Kera, Nikki Kautz and husband, Eric, Anthony Joseph Goodale, Keara Elizabeth Baricska, and Andrew Silas Baricska; great-grandchildren: Kylee, Brandon, Kameron, Kalape, Abby, Meredith, Emma, Ryder, and Carolina; and a sister, Martha Ray Morgan and husband, Tim of Mingo Jct, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Donald Lee Baricska and several siblings. Memorials may be made to the Middendorf Baptist Church at 2202 Middendorf Road, Hartsville, South Carolina 29550.
