Shirley “Pat” Sutherland (nee Asay), aged 73, of Westville, went to be with the Lord on May 25, 2019. Wife of the late William “Bill” Sutherland Jr., beloved mother of William “Bill” Sutherland III (Sandy) and Tracy Gilman, and grandmother of Aaron (Chelsea) Gilman, Alexander Gilman, Michael (Brittany) Rowe, John (Tiffany) Rowe, Daniel Rowe, Omar Sutherland, Victor Sutherland, Stephen Sutherland II, and great-grandmother of 9. Also survived by her brothers Stephen Asay and Antonio Turin; son in law Daniel Rowe; daughter in law Maria Sutherland; step daughter Debra Sutherland and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her daughter, Kathleen “Dawn” Rowe, and her son, Stephen Sutherland. She was a member of Lutheran Church of Our Savior, National Gold Star Mothers, and American Legion Auxiliary. She was a graduate of Pitman High School, and a retired Gloucester County employee.

She enjoyed gardening, loved children and animals. Visitation Thursday May 30th 10am until the memorial service at 11am at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL HOME, 171 Delaware St., Woodbury, NJ. Interment will be private.
