Obituary of Shirley Faulkner Shirley A. Faulkner, age 72, of Addison, NY passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Steuben Center with her family by her side. She was born in Corning, NY on June 25, 1946, the daughter of Basil A. and Elsie A. Dunning. She married Victor Faulkner in June of 2006 and was predeceased by him in April of 2016.

Shirley spent many years managing the Pinnacle State Park Restaurant. She then worked as a bank teller for Community Bank, Addison NY for 20 years. She enjoyed rummage sales, sewing, and playing bingo.

She was an avid collector and filled her homes with many treasures. She loved to be on the go and was known for driving the local Amish. Shirley had a sharp sense of humor and was a social butterfly.

She enjoyed sharing what was on her mind; affectionately known as “Squirrely Shirley” by her nieces and nephews. Most of all, she will be remembered as a loving and affectionate mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her children: Rodney (Bobbi) Southard of Bath, Alicia (Bradley Elliott) Southard of Savona; grandchildren: Kendra Southard (Joe Malorzo), Tyler Southard, Kristin Fenner (Zach Brown), Kenny Fenner, Katelin Fenner, Braelyn Elliott, Brooke Elliott, Chase Elliott; great grandchildren: Natalie, Liam, and Colson Malorzo, Preslie Southard, Quinn Brown; brothers in law: Lee (Gladys) Dunning, Duane (Barbara) Dunning, Jessie (Doris) Faulkner; sister in law: Jeannette Smith; several nieces and nephews, and extended family: Jonathan and Malinda Stoltzfus.

Along with her parents and husband she was predeceased by her brother, Earl Dunning. Family and friends are invited to call at Carpenter-Flint Funeral Home, 10 Wall Street, Addison, NY 14801 on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 1:00pm-3:00pm. A memorial service will immediately follow at 3:00pm with Rev.
