She was born August, 2 1994, in Kemmerer, Wyoming. Shyla was the daughter of April (Holder) and Randy Hill and Terra Baker and Richard Long of Big Piney, Wyoming.

She was a 2012 graduate of Big Piney High School. After high school, Shyla attended Abraxis Cosmetology School in in Rock Springs , Wyoming, where she acquired a degree in Cosmetology. Shyla married Dustin Macy on July, 19 2014, a marriage resulting in the birth of her son, and greatest joy, Blayze Ryker Macy, on November, 1 2015.

Shyla worked as a cosmetologist and a bartender, sharing her smile with all she encountered. She enjoyed helping her dad on their ranch, horses and dogs, barrel racing, snowmobiling, camping and laughing and singing with friends. Shyla will be remembered as a precious daughter, an amazing mom, a treasured friend and for her laughter, her song, her smile and her beauty.

Shyla was preceded in death by her grandparents, Nila (Franch) Hill and Tommy Holder, and her brother Quinten Richard Long. She is survived by grandparents, Lance Hill and Margaret (Bast) Holder, Jim and Evelyn Long, Mary Jane Rebsom and Kenny Baker, parents, April (Holder) and Randy Hill, Richard (Danielle )Long and Terra (Tim) Baker-Blair, fiancé, Michael Meeks, ex-husband, Dustin Macy, siblings, Taylor Long, Sinica Blair, Lincoln Long, Damon Blair and Matisyn Long, her son, Blayze Ryker Macy, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, countless dear friends and all those she touched with her infectious smile. A Celebration of Life for Shyla will be held Thursday, March, 28 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Southwest Sublette County Pioneers Senior Center in Marbleton, Wyoming.
