OBITUARY Sidney Allen Cox October 10, 1937 – December 26, 2018 Sidney Allen Cox, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 in Livingston, TX. He was born October 10, 1937 in Missouri. He grew up in the Houston Heights and attended John H. Reagan High School, Houston – class of 1956.

He later went on to graduate from Sam Houston State University, Huntsville, TX where he received a BA degree in Sociology in 1960. He was a proud member of the Esquires Social Club which later became the Epsilon Zeta chapter of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. After graduation- he was a member of the US Air Force Reserves.

He moved back to Houston where he was a Sales Representative for several commercial food equipment manufactures for over 30 years. He was the owner of Sid Cox and Associates. He is preceded by his mother – Nora Moers Cox, and his oldest son Keith Allen Cox.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years – Marie Wyatt Cox. They lived in the Heights for almost 50 years, before moving to Lake Livingston. Sons; Gary Wyatt Cox, his wife Kelly Matkin Cox and their daughters Kathleen (Katy) and Audrey.

David Ray Cox, his wife Elaine Seitz Cox and their daughter Samantha (Sam). We love you and miss you “Big Daddy”! !
