Silvester Lavar Morris Sr. September 27, 1977 – January 28, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Silvester Lavar Morris Sr. was born to Valerie and Silvester Morris Jr. on September 27, 1977 in Saginaw Michigan, but grew up in Houston, TX. Due to being born premature, he adopted the nick name, “Peewee”. Silvester Lavar Morris Sr accepted Christ at an early age.

In 1996, Silvester Lavar Morris Sr. graduated from North Shore Highand he enlisted in the U.S. Army August 6, 1996 through May 9, 1999. Following his time in the military he worked in the oil and gas industry working offshore,in various roles including under water welding and diving. Silvester Lavar Morris Sr. was preceded in death by his grandfather John D. Avery, grandmother Servada M. Avery, three uncles Dwight Gray, Harold Avery, John Avery Jr., aunt Carol Mallisham and cousin Daniel Morgan.

He is survived by his loving mother Valerie Morris, his father Silvester Morris Jr., his sister Latonya Morris (K’Orie), his brother Joshua Morris, his daughters Michelle Valenti (Kaleb) and Angel Deaton, his son Silvester Lavar Morris Jr., his niece Bryce Morris and host of aunts, uncles, and cousin. Silvester Lavar Morris departed this l ife January 28, 2019. Visitation Saturday February 9, 2019, from 10am.

-12pm. Funeral 12pm. Services will be held at Island of Hope COGIC.
