Simon’s Obituary Mr. Ruiz passed away at the Seasons Hospice in Milton where he was receiving palliative care for esophageal cancer. He was 73 years of age. Simon was born and raised in Yabucoa Puerto Rico.

He lived on his family farm where he worked the land for his entire life. Four years ago, he came to Chelsea to live with his daughter. Simon was repatriated to Puerto Rico for funeral services and burial in the family plot in Yabucoa cemetery.
