Villalpando, 83, passed away to be with the Lord on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Atrium Nursing Center in Harlingen. Mrs. Villalpando was born September 30, 1935 to Fidel & Petra Davila in Weslaco, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ramiro P. Villalpando; 1 daughter, Minerva Lopez; 2 grandsons, Oscar Lopez, Alberto Reyes, Jr.; daughter in-law, Noemi Villalpando; 5 brothers, Fidel Davila, Guadalupe Davila, Jose Jesus Davila, Juan Davila, Ramiro Davila & 2 sisters, Manuela Billanueva & Josefa Perez.

She is survived by 3 sons, Ricardo Villalpando (Noemi+) of Weslaco, TX, Rogelio Villalpando (Alma) of Mission, TX, Rene Villalpando (Barbara) of Harlingen, TX; 2 daughters, Elizabeth Romero (Ruben) of Houston, TX, Diana Reyes (Alberto) of Weslaco, TX; 4 sisters, Adelina Uribe of Lakeworth, FL, Rosalva Romero of West Palm Beach, FL, Maria Magdalena Villalon of Mission, TX & Francisca San Miguel of Prosper, TX. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren & 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2018 with a 7:00 p.m. rosary at Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco – Chapel of The Heavens.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa, TX. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Ruben Romero, Jr., Francisco Romero, Omero Lopez, Pedro Garcia, Tristen Garcia & Abel Gonzalez.

Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Garcia, Ruben Romero III, Rayden Romero & Francisco Romero, Jr. Arrangements are under the direction of Guerra Funeral Home of Weslaco, Inc., 2602 N. Texas Ave. , Weslaco, TX (956) 969-1461.
