Sonia “Sunny” Stawash, age 80, of Clark, passed away on Wednesday May 22, 2019, at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Rahway. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral Service on Tuesday May 28, 2019, at 12:30 pm, at the Krowicki Gorny Memorial Home 211 Westfield Ave. Clark.

Entombment, St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be prior to the service on Tuesday from 10:30 am-12:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, kindly offer donations to the local animal shelter of your choice.

Born in Irvington, to Charles and Eugenia, Ms. Stawash was raised in Irvington and was a longtime resident of Clark. She worked in the claims department of Aetna Insurance Co. for many years before retiring. Ms. Stawash was a caring and overly generous person to all she met.

Ms. Stawash is survived by her two cousins Marie Cowan and Edward Oksienik; several friends Barbette A. and Marjorie Johnston, and Joy and David Greenhill, Sue Johnston, and Elli Boulgarides.
