Funeral services for Mrs. Sonja Ann Carroll, 78, of Jefferson, Texas will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday May 26, 2019 at The Capt. W.M. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home with Rev. Taylor Duncan officiating with interment at Shiloh Cemetery following.

A time for visitation is scheduled from 6-8 P.M. Saturday May 25, 2019 at Haggard Funeral Home in Jefferson, Texas. Mrs. Carroll passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday May 21, 2019. Sonja Ann Carroll was born October 27, 1940 in Cass County, Texas to Charles O’Neal Allday and Emma Lee Wyatt.

Mrs. Carroll was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Along with her husband, Jimmy, she owned and operated Jim and Sonja Carroll’s Tax Service for over 50 years. Preceding Mrs. Carroll in death were her parents and sister, Barbara Allday.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Carroll; son, Jeff Carroll & Stephanie of Tyler, Texas; daughter, Lee Ann Carroll & Rudy Culebro of Longview, Texas; son, Clint Carroll of Jefferson, Texas; daughter, Dina Carroll of Jefferson, Texas; grandchildren, Adam Bankard & Brooke, Meagan Bankard, Colin Carroll, Connor Carroll, Cooper Cohn; great-grandchildren, Ryleigh Landers, Kennedy Bankard, Maddie Mills, Gracelyn Mills as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Pallbearers will be Adam Bankard, Colin Carroll, Connor Carroll and Rudy Culebro.
