OBITUARY Soon Myung Hwang February 22, 1945 – October 31, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Mrs. Soon Myung Hwang, 73, wife of Hu Ki Hwang, passed to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 5, 2018, at 12:00 noon at the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. Jai Hwang, James Moore, Nicholas Moore and Christopher Owens will serve as pallbearers.

Soon is beloved and cherished by her family and spending time with them gave her great joy. She took pride in preparing her authentic Korean dishes as only she could. Soon was a lover of nature and was especially delighted by the beauty of flowers.

Soon was preceded in death by her mother, Lip Boon Kim. She will be missed by her family and all that knew her. Left to cherish her precious memories are her children: son, Jai Hwang (Suzy), daughter, Mindi Yu; grandchildren, Daniel, Benjamin and Christopher Hwang; sisters, Sun Cha Owens and Soon Hee Park.

The family will receive friends from 11 AM until 12:00 noon on Monday, November 5, 2018, at the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home.
