Obituary for Stacy Jean Chase Stacy Jean Moore Chase, age 47, of Taylorsville passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 8, 2018. She was born on September 18, 1971 in Boone County, WV, the daughter of the late James Benjamin and Barbara Jean Chester Moore. Before becoming disabled, Stacy had worked in the home health industry as a CNA II.

She loved spending time with her family and friends. You would always find her singing or baking. She was a wonderful cook always making cookies and cakes for everyone.

Stacy also enjoyed playing word or puzzle games on her phone, especially “Candy Crush” that was her favorite. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her cousin Larry Dolin, II. Those left to cherish her memory include her children Derek Chase, Alice Chase, & Ashley Chase, all of Conover; grandchildren Avery Parker, Aubree Harold, TJ Harold, Michael Navey, Brayden Harold, & Bryan Navey; brother Charles Moore of Taylorsville; step-brother Harold Barry, Jr.; step-sisters Vickie Hatton & Mary Ann Browning; niece Patience Fritz; along with a number of other family members.
