Trinklein, Stafford G. Sr. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, with his family at his side, at the age of 90 years. He was born March 25, 1928, in Saginaw County. Stafford started Trinklein Farms and farmed in the local area all of his life.

He enjoyed collecting and restoring antique tractors. He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and his grandchildren.

He married Marilynn J. Foster on December 3, 1949; she survives him. He also leaves two daughters and one son, Donna Clapp, Hemlock; Stafford George Trinklein Jr. and his wife, Julie, Saginaw; Patricia Watson and her husband, Edwin, Hemlock; a daughter-in-law, Denise Trinklein, Saginaw; his grandchildren: Lisa (Justin) Deary, Ron (Tara) Clapp Jr., Scott Trinklein, Adam (Angie) Trinklein, David Trinklein, Anna (Matt) Hoffman, Leslie Brady, Tammy Watson, Heather (Michael) Deutsch; his great-grandchildren: Adalyn, Austin, Aidan, Carlei, Tyler, Lilie, Kiley, Kaeden, and Brendan; his great-great-grandson, Parker; two sisters, Lois Spindler and Joan Trinklein; several nieces, nephews and their families. He was predeceased by his son, John Trinklein, daughter, Brenda Swan, and grandson, Kurt Watson, and by one brother and three sisters.

In accordance with Stafford’s wishes, cremation has taken place and private family services will be held. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider St. Peter’s Lutheran Church General Fund or a charity of their choice. www.
