Obituary for Stanilslaw Filipowicz Stanislaw Filipowicz, 93, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Arbor Glen in Bridgewater, NJ with his loving family by his side. He was born in Lacaka-Wola, Poland the son of the late Szczepan and Rozalia Filipowicz. Mr. Filipowicz had moved from Poland in 1983 to Hillsborough, NJ.

He then moved to Branchburg, NJ where he has been a resident for the past 11 years. Mr. Filipowicz was a machinist at JG Schmidt Co. in Green Brook, NJ for many years before retiring. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather who loved spending time with his family.

Mr. Filipowicz was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (Christ the Redeemer Parish) in Manville, NJ. He is predeceased by three brothers Jan Filipowicz, Jozef Filipowicz and Tadeusz Filipowicz and by three sisters Aniela Wolos, Genowefa Filipowicz and Anna Szczepaniak. He is survived by his wife of 69 years Petronela Filipowicz of Branchburgh, NJ, by his two sons Jerzy Filipowicz and his wife Krystyna of Hillsborough, NJ and Boguslaw Filipowicz and his wife Iwona of Basking Ridge, NJ, by his daughter Alicja Warzecha and her husband Jaroslaw of Branchburg, NJ, by a brother Eugieniusz Filipowicz of Poland and by a sister Stella Cichocki of Chicago, IL.

He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren Monika, Malgosia, Justyna, Ula, Kasia and Karolinka and by one great- grandchild Adriana. The viewing will be on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 4 to 7 PM at the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd. , Manville, NJ.

The Funeral will be on Thursday, July 26, 2018 8:00 AM from the Ketusky Funeral Home followed by a 9:00 AM Mass at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Manville, NJ.
