Obituary for Stanley Jersky Stanley Jersky, 91, of The Villages, Florida, passed away January 3, 2019 at Leesburg Regional Medical Center. Born on December 28, 1927 to Phillip and Fanny Jersky in Manhattan, New York. Stanley served in the United States Army then went to college and received his Bachelor’s degree in accounting.

He worked most his life as a supervisor and chief financial officer in a multi-service industry. He met the love of his life, Miriam Israeli, 40 years ago and they were married July 4, 1990 in Tavern in The Park, New York. He retired in 2000 and they moved to The Villages in 2008.

Tennis was his passion, anyone that knew him well soon became tennis enthusiast also. He was fond of playing bridge, reading and watching the news, he was also a history buff. He was a very devout Uncle.

Stanley is survived by his loving wife Miriam Jersky, sister Beverly (Stanley) Finkelstein, nephews Stephen (Ellen) Finkelstein and their son’s Jacob, Joshua, Jeremy and Paul (Lori) Finkelstein their children Katy, Joel and Peri.
