He was married to Carol Lee Roseberry (Canaday) for over 61 years, who preceded him in death. His daughter, Karen Lee, preceded him in death. He is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law: Blaine and his partner Shirley, Brad and daughter-in-law Julie; eight grandchildren: Tom (Kacy), Kristina (Andy), Bridget (Jeremy), Brenda (Gigi), Taylor, Jessica (Anthony), Lauren (Jason) and Michael; and eleven great grandchildren; Wyatt, Cearra, Celsey, Jillian, Blake, Bryce, Lyle, Calvin, Ellis, Sean and Cadence.

Separated by a stint in the army, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Juris Doctorate, both from the University of Iowa. He was a member of the International Harvester law department for 26 years, the last 14 years as Vice President and Chief Operating Legal Officer. After leaving Harvester, Stan was an Adjunct Professor of International Business at DePaul University and became regarded as the leading authority in contract and legislative law for the worldwide farm and construction industries.

His priorities have always been his family, working in his yard, history as well as Iowa and Chicago sports. Resting at the Tews-Ryan Funeral Home on Saturday May 4, from 10 am until the time of Service at 12 noon. Interment to follow at Mt.
