Obituary Stanley “Butch” Stephen Shatto, 67, of Elkhart and formerly of LaGrange, passed away on December 31, 2018, at the Lutheran Life Villages Nursing Home in Kendallville, Indiana. He was born on September 18, 1951, in LaGrange County to Clyde and Lillian (Runion) Shatto. Stan grew up in LaGrange and graduated from Lakeland High School.

In his younger days, his parents ran what was previously known as the Brick House Restaurant on Detroit Street in LaGrange.
