Bennettsville, SC Stearlyn Clayton Bloom, 68, passed away Friday, May 3, 2019 at McLeod Hospice House in Florence surrounded by members of her family. Born October 25, 1950 in Roxboro, NC, she was a daughter of Janie Laws Clayton and the late Sterling Clayton. Mrs. Bloom was a retired waitress with Golden Corral in Roxboro, NC.

She enjoyed dancing, listening to music, singing, and camping. She is survived by her husband, Michael Alan Bloom; daughters, Mindy Sullivan (Dan) of Hillsboro, NC, Cindy Jacobs (Woody) of Bethel Hill, NC, Dana Wright (Marty) of Blenheim, SC, Melissa Hoover of Phillipsburg, PA; her mother, Janie Laws Clayton; brother, Coy Clayton of Timberlake, NC; sister, Daphne Knight of Cheraw, SC; special niece, Renay Walker of Darlington, SC; and seven grandchildren. Mrs. Bloom was preceded in death by her father listed above; sister, Geraldine; and brother, Darvel.

Memorials may be made to McLeod Hospice House, 1203 East Cheves Street, Florence, SC 29506. There is no service schedule at this time. Burroughs Funeral Home is honored to assist the Bloom Family.
