Obituary for Stefanie “Bunny” Huska Print Stefanie “Bunny” Huska, 93, of 995 Pecks Road, Pittsfield, MA, passed away January 23, 2019 at home. She was born in Pittsfield on August 12, 1925 to the late Nicholas and Anna Schklanovska Stefaniuk. Bunny was educated in Pittsfield Schools and was a graduate of Pittsfield High School.

She married the late Walter J. Huska, on September 14, 1963 at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church. He predeceased her on April 25, 1985. Primarily a homemaker, she at one time worked at Eaton Paper Company.

Mrs. Huska was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church and also was a member of the Women’s Club at the church. She enjoyed knitting, word search puzzles, jig saw puzzles and especially adored her three grandchildren. Mrs. Huska leaves behind her two daughters, Christine A. Swiatlowski of Manlius, NY, and Katrina D. Marquis and her husband Brian of Lanesborough, MA; three grandchildren, Brenden Marquis, Dakota Marquis, and Sarah Swiatlowski; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son in law David Swiatlowski in 2018, and two sisters, Amelia Stefaniuk and Clementina Pell. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services for Stefanie “Bunny” Huska will be held, TUESDAY, January 29, 2019 at 11am at DERY FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Janusz Jedrychowski, Pastor of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Hudson, NY, officiating.

Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours will be held, MONDAY, January 28, 2019 from 4pm to 7pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to The American Heart Association or Huntington’s Disease Society of America in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
