Obituary for Stephen Bruce West Stephen Bruce West, age 67, of Grants Pass, died May 22, 2018 at Asante Three Rivers Medical Center after a battle with cancer. Stephen was born October 14, 1950 in Klamath Falls, Oregon but grew up in Grants Pass. After serving his country honorably as a sailor during the Vietnam War, he returned home to Oregon and spent the next thirty plus years traveling the United States as a salesman in the Recreational Vehicle industry.

In 2005 he retired to Grants Pass. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. His hobbies included fishing and golf.

Survivors include two sons, Alan DeCourcey and Jesse DeCourcey both of Grants Pass; his father, John West of Palm Desert, California; two sisters, Susan West of Azalea, Oregon and Jennifer McBroom of Seattle, Washington; two brothers, Russell West of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Michael West of Florence, Oregon; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary West. A committal service with military honors will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 18, 2018 at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
