Alliance, Ohio: Stephen R. Mitchell, age 69 went home with the Lord on February 22, 2019 at his home surrounded by his devoted family. He was born April 24, 1949 in Marietta, Ohio to the late Russell and Emily (Carpenter) Mitchell. He was retired from Walsh University where he proudly served as Campus Police.

He was a member of The Alliance Baptist Temple. Not only was he a Godly Man but he was a devoted family man. He enjoyed camping, cars, fishing, motorcycles, watching the History Channel, and watching 3D movies with Katilynn.

He spent quality time with his best friends, Joe Zwick and John Galantine. He is survived by his best friend and wife, Kimberly (Seabolt) Michell. Daughters: Rebecca Syx, Deidre (Darren) Lindsey, Stephanie (Jackie) Santana, and Jamie Welling.

Son: Brian (Bobbie) Mitchell. Sister: Sharron (Richard) Pittman. Brothers: Bill (Ladell) Mitchell, Brad (Donna) Mitchell, and Chuck (Kathy) Mitchell.

Step- Children: Darrell (Christina) Koran and Kendra (Kyle) Griffin. Grandchildren: Alisha, Tyler, Cameron, Katy, Josie, Makenzie, Brittany, Brianna, Jacob, Kirstein, Dominic, Kaitlynn, and Ashley, and six Great- Grandchildren. A Memorial Dinner for Steve will be held at Silver Park in Alliance, Ohio on February 28, 2019 from 3 till 7 pm.
