Of Ben Avon, peacefully on Tuesday morning, May 29, 2018. Beloved fiancé of Joyce Nesaw; dear son of Jane Stapel and the late Arthur Stapel; brother of Laurie (Jerry) Hinds and Neal (Marcia) Stapel. Stephen was a graduate of Avonworth High School.

He was very active in martial arts and woodworking. He worked for US Airways and Ferguson Enterprises. Family and friends are welcome on Friday 4 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m. at the McDONALD – LINN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICE, LLC, 529 California Ave.
