Stephen “Steve” K. Levorchick, age 89, of Stony Ridge, OH passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. He was born on July 28, 1929 in Honolulu, HI to Steve and Martha (Kauahipaula) Levorchick. Steve proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Army.

Steve also dedicated much of his life to the service of various Law Enforcement agencies for nearly 40 years. Among his many involvements they included being a former Golden Gloves Boxing National Runner-up, a coach for various sports including; little league, basketball, softball, and soccer, he taught youth golf, and dancing to handicap children. His memberships included; St. John’s Lutheran Church in Stony Ridge, the Stony Ridge Civic Club, Hidden Hill Golf Club, Buckeye State Sheriff’s Association and a 60-year member of the Troy-Webster American Legion #240 which included dedicating a large portion of his time recognizing our nations veterans.

However, his greatest joy was his family, especially his grand and great grandchildren. In addition to his wife Gerry, Steve is survived by his children; Cynthia Lynne Levorchick of Perrysburg, Stephen John (Lori) Levorchick of Port Clinton, sister; Helen (Edward) Rusiecki of NY, cousin; Mildred Bailado of HI, 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter; Shawn Roberts and sister, Rose Dubert.

Family and friends will be received 2-8 p.m., Monday, December 17, 2018 at the Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home, 110 W. Main Street, Luckey, OH. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from St. John’s Lutheran Church, Stony Ridge, OH with an additional time of visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service. Officiating will be Pastor Cindy Ritter.

Interment will be in Troy Township Cemetery, Luckey, OH. A bereavement luncheon will be served in the church fellowship hall immediately following the cemetery committal service. Memorial contributions may take the form of contributions to: Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Troy-Webster American Legion #240 or St. John’s Lutheran Church.
