On Sunday, March 3, 2019, Sterling Arnett Jackson, transitioned to eternal life at Medstar Washington Hospital Center, Washington, D.C. Sterling was born in Marbury, Maryland on Sunday, February 19, 1956 to the late Raymond and Evelyn Jackson. He is the beloved husband of Brenda Jackson and doting father of Latisha Lavett Jackson.

Also surviving are his mother-in-law, Fannie Yeldell; brothers, Ray Jackson (Shirley), Charles Simpson, Emmett Jackson and Barry Jackson of Porthsmouth, VA. ; sisters, Carolyn Swann (Sterling), Gloria Sweetney and Evelyn Webb (Alfred) of Virginia Beach, VA,; brother-in-law, Carey Cumberlander and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Viewing, 9:00 a.m. until time of Service, 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Richie Baptist Church, 1706 Sansbury Road, Upper Marlboro, Maryland 20774.

Interment, Heritage Memorial Cemetery, 13472 Poplar Hill Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601.
