Mr. Steve Colson, 70, of Murray, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at his home. Mr. Colson was born September 1, 1948 in Golden Pond, KY to the late Frank and Eilene Garland Colson. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine and he worked as a roofer for Morris Brothers Contractors Along with his parents Mr. Colson is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Moffitt Colson; five brothers, Cradiz, Klel, Frankie, Rylie Bill and Bobby James Colson; three sisters, Dorothy Nell Higgins, Thelma Hargrove and Nioda Colson.

Those left to cherish his memory include two sons, Steve Colson and wife Michelle of Murray and Brian Colson of Edmonton, KY; two daughters, Brandi Byrd and husband Gary of Murray and Heather McCutcheon of Murray; a brother, Rocky Colson and wife Tonya of Aurora; two sisters, Tish Colson of Chicago, IL and Dean Downey of Murray; seven grandchildren, Deondra Bramley, Keenan Bramley,Kayleigh Colson, Kearia McCutcheon, Keegan Colson, Nevaeh Colson and Alexis Haley. The family would like to give special thanks to Morris Prescott, Michael Brown and Elijah Balentine. A celebration of life is set for 2 PM on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Imes Funeral Home and Crematory, downtown Murray.

Elijah Balentine will officiate. The family will receive visitors between 11 AM -2 PM on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the funeral Home. Online condolences are available at www.
