Obituary Service Details Steven Curtis Coil, age 65, of Chester, IL born April 14, 1953 in St. Louis, MO and died on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Belleville Memorial Hospital, Belleville, IL. Steve was a graduate of East St. Louis Senior High School. He worked for Century Brass in Belleville, IL and Chester Foundry in Chester, IL for over 25 years.

Steve loved to hunt and fish and was an avid St Louis Cardinal Fan, and he played sports for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Jeannette, nee Knapp, Coil; and a brother, Ward Coil. He is survived by a son, Corey Coil of St. Peters, MO; his fiancé, Linda Schaefer of Belleville, IL; his grandchild, Britton Coil; a brother, Robert (Lynette) Coil of Russellville, TN; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews, cousins and several loving friends.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 5:00 pm at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL with Rev. Dale Coleman officiating.
