Steven’s Obituary Steven Bell, 60, of Union passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019 in Washington. Steven, son of Oscar Bell and wife Glenda (Drennen) was born April 18, 1958 in St. Louis. On March 1, 2002 he was united in marriage to Tammy in Union.

Steven loved all fishing especially cat fishing on the rivers and lakes. He enjoyed ATV riding, mud runs and go karts. As an avid gardener he grew lush vegetable gardens.

In his spare time, he restored old cars and listened to music. Most of all he was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Glenda Bell.

He is survived by his wife Tammy Bell of Union; four children, Tony Nelson and wife Julie of Union, Tonya Nelson (Josh Brandt) of Pacific, Samuel “Cody” Nelson of Union and Joshua Nelson (Crystal Hanna) of Union; one brother, Terry Bell of Villa Ridge; three sisters, Susie Bell of Villa Ridge, Debra Bruns of Indiana State and Mindy Cooper of Gray Summit; eight grandchildren, Jaylynn, Jason, Tyler, Aaron, Conner, Bentley, Makenna and Noah; two brothers-in-law, John Hall and wife Pam of High Ridge and Kevin Hall of St. Louis; one sister-in-law, Tracey Kathcart of Farmington; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends. Memorial donations to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer’s Association are preferred.
