He was born on October 21, 1950 in Rochester, New York to the late Wayne Rowan and Margaret Griffin Rowan and was a retired real estate agent and developer . He is survived by his wife, Dorveen Rowan of Mineola; brother, Paul Rowan of Victor, New York; sisters, Michelle Clor of Gainsville, Virginia, Pat Zickefoose of Red Oak, Texas, Nancy Ackerman of Mansfield, Texas and Roberta Skrip of Rochester, New York.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 22nd, 2018 at Beaty Funeral Home 5396 S. State Hwy. 37 Mineola, TX 75773 at 2:00 pm.
