Sue Ann Thompson, 73 of Charlestown, IN and formerly of the Hanover. IN area passed away on December 17, 2018 at River Crossing in Charlestown. Sue was born on July 3, 1945 in Springfield, IL the daughter of Everett Richard and Edria Kruise Hensley.

Sue was a Bartender for over 30 years for several places in the Clark and Jefferson Counties in Indiana. Sue was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and gardening. Survivors include her son’s David Neal Thompson and his wife Jennifer of Lexington, IN, Richard Nick Thompson of Hibernia, IN and Charles Tom Thompson and his wife Lisa of Scottsburg, IN; daughter, Bethany Steele of Mississippi; brother, Edward Hensley of Hanover, IN; sister, Joyce Hensley eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jeff Hensley. Cremation was chosen, and the family will have a gathering at a later date to remember Sue’s life.
