Obituary for Sue “Susie” Surcouf Hernandez Sue “Susie” Surcouf Hernandez passed away following a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 in Mandeville, LA. She was born on September 15, 1941 in New Orleans, LA to the late Arthur S. Surcouf, Jr. and Sybil Fox Surcouf. Susie was married to her beloved husband, Milton Joseph Hernandez, Jr., for 57 years.

She was the mother of Milton J. Hernandez, III (Anne) and Nancy H. May. Susie was the proud grandmother of Alexander, Kyle, Milton IV, and Katherine. She was the sister of Arthur S. Surcouf, III and the late Judy S. Burgess.

Susie was a beautiful wife, loving mother, and grandmother. She was an avid troll doll collector. Susie was a teacher and librarian at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic School in Mandeville, LA.
