Susan A. “Sue” Ross, 61, of Muncy, died Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport. Born December 4, 1956, in Shamokin, she was a daughter of the late Robert B. and Matilda L. (Merolli) Ross. Sue was a 1974 graduate of Williamsport High School.

She was formerly employed with Red Lobster for more than 25 years and also was employed with UPMC Susquehanna Muncy as a receptionist. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish. She enjoyed flower gardening and loved shopping.

Most of all she loved and cherished spending time with her sons. Surviving are her two sons, Seth M. and Erik R. Balliet, both of Muncy, a brother, Gary R. Ross, of Williamsport, two nieces, Angela M. Lepley (Shaun), of Jersey Shore and Jessica A. McDermott (Eric), of Nipponese Valley, three great-nephews, Anthony J. Orrico, Jr., Greyson P. McDermott, and Gaige M. Lepley, and a great-niece, Emilie G. Winter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Monday, July 23 at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 702 West Fourth St., Williamsport with the Rev.

Brian F. VanFossen officiating. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. in the portico at St. Joseph the Worker Parish.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Susan’s name to St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 711 W. Edwin Street, Williamsport, PA 17701.
