Obituary for Susan M. Alhstrom-Allis When someone you love becomes a memory…the memory becomes a treasure…. . Susan M. Ahlstrom-Allis, 56, of Windham Twp.

, Rome, Pa passed away on Thursday evening, September 20, 2018 at the Robert Packer Hospital following a brief period of declining health. Susan was born on May 9, 1962 in Boston, Mass. She was a graduate of Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School and received her bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Bradford College, Bradford, Massachusetts.

Susan enjoyed spending time at the beach, loved talking politics and was an avid Boston Red Socks and New England Patriots fan. She will be greatly missed by her husband Audra C. Allis; her mother and step-father: Loretta and William Steele of Nichols; her father and step-mother: Peter and Fran Ahlstrom of Burlington, VT; her children: Karen (Matt) Vinson of SC; Courtney Dixon of Mass; her step children: Michael (Stacey) Allis; Stacy (Jay) Lardizbal; Chad Allis; and Scott Allis; her sisters: Christine (Ted) Ahlstrom; and Brenda Ahlstrom; brothers Eric Ahlstrom and Michael Ahlstrom; three grandchildren: Kayla, Taylor and Tatiana; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren; a uncle David Couture; many nieces, nephews, cousins and Audra’s extended family also survive. Susan was predeceased by her daughter Ashley Dixon.

A private family memorial service and celebration of Susan’s life will be held at the convenience of the family on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols.
