Susan I. Michael, 97, of Center Township. , passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018. Born September 16, 1920 in Windber, PA, she was a daughter of the late John and Agnes Pastorek.

Mrs. Michael was a member of St. Titus Catholic Church in Aliquippa, and St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Center Township. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John J. Michael, Sr., and seven brothers and sisters, Anna McAdam, John Joseph Pastorek, Mary Pastorek Grela,… Read More » Margaret Theresa Pastorek Laslo, Agnes Pastorek Patterson, Helen Pastorek Katchur, and Verna Pastorek Cordutsky. Surviving are her four children and their spouses, Joan and Roy Pirain, Dr. John and Anne Michael, Dr. Esther Michael-Momtaheni and Dr. David Momtaheni, and George and Jayne Michael.

Susan also leaves behind eleven grandchildren and their spouses, John and Lynn Pirain, David and Erin Pirain, Renee and Joel Vasilko, J. Reed and Elizabeth Pirain, John and Julie Michael, Dr. Holly Michael and her fiance, Josh Gellner, Heather and Jason Grew, Adam Momtaheni, Ashley Momtaheni, Daniel Michael, and Christopher Michael; and twelve great grandchildren, Malyana, Amanda, and Justin Pirain, Benjamin and Ryan Pirain, Amelia, Lillian, and Della Vasilko, J. Reese Pirain, Katelyn and Jake Michael, and Cullen Grew. Susan was a kind, generous, and warm hearted person, who cherished her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her.

Friends will be received Thursday from 4 to 8pm in Tatalovich Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., CENTER TWP. , 3475 Brodhead Rd. , Monaca, PA, 15061.

Family and friends will meet Friday at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Center Township, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11am, with Fr. Martin Bartel, officiating. Interment will follow in Mt.

Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Hopewell Township. A parish vigil service will be held at 3:45pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
