Joseph J. DePace, 94, of Economy, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2018, in Good Samaritan Hospice of Beaver with his loving family by his side. He was born December 11, 1923, in Ambridge, Pa. , to the late Francesco and Maria Rosa Sabino DePace.

He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Baden, and was a retired steelworker of the tin mill department of the former LTV Steel Corporation. Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were a son, Vincent DePace; a sister, Frances Pockey, and three brothers, Vincent DePace, Larry DePace and Albert DePace Surviving are his wife, Josephine Skanderson DePace; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Pam DePace of Center Twp. ; five grandchildren, Justin (Nikki) DePace of Lisbon, Ohio, Morgan Czartoryski of Mt.

Washington, Niki DePace of Rochester, Zachary DePace and Gabriella DePace, both of Center Twp. ; a great-granddaughter, Gia; two sisters, Catherine (Kay) Aloi of Ambridge, and Marie (Frank) Gentile of Center Twp. ; a brother- in-law, Tony Pockey; close friends, Mike and Pam Meerdo of Shaler Twp.

, and Mark and Lynn Homison of Mars. Friends will be received Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the JOHN SYKA FUNERAL HOME INC. , 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, PA, where prayers will be offered Tuesday at 11 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, at the corner of Linmore Ave.

and Dippold St., Baden. The family would like to thank the staff of Good Samaritan Hospice for the loving and compassionate care extended to Joseph during his final illness.
