Bethany-Susan (Simpson) Bush, age 62, wife of Steven J. Bush, passed away on Wednesday September 19, 2018 at Masonic Care of Wallingford. Susan was born in Derby, CT on June 18, 1956, daughter of the late John L. Simpson, Sr. and Lila (Allison) Simpson. Susan resided in Bethany with her family for the past 26 years.

In addition to her husband Steven, Susan is survived by her son, Justin Bush (Kelly) and two grandsons Abiathar Bush and Cahlen Bush of Naugatuck. She is also survived by her sister Gail Simpson and brother Bobby Simpson, both of Naugatuck; sister in law Susan A. Simpson of Bethany, as well as many other dear family members. Susan was predeceased by her brothers, John Simpson, Jr., and Larry Simpson as well as grandparents Robert and Pearl Allison of Amarillo, TX Susan was a member of the Naugatuck Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for over 44 years.

She loved sharing her beliefs from the Good News of God’s Word. Susan worked for years as a trainer and supervisor for Fotomat Corporation, and then afterward, she worked at businesses as a bookkeeper/secretary. She had a great interest in arts and crafts and greatly enjoyed making and giving things to others.

A memorial talk will be held on Sunday September 30, 2018 at 3:30PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Naugatuck. Burial will be private in Carrington Cemetery in Bethany. Memorial contributions may be made to West Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 49 Bowman Drive, Naugatuck, CT 06770.
