Susie Boyett died April 28, 2019. She was 81 years of age. Susie was the daughter of Harry Hoffman and Dorothy Taylor Hoffman.

She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Boyett; son, Charles Comer Boyett, III; known to her two grandsons as “Ding”, Charles Eliot Caplan, Andrew Calvin Caplan; sister-in-law, Grace Hoffman; and four nieces, Susan H. Adams, Ellen H. Grashot, Claire McGeorge, and Grace Anne McGeorge. Susie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Comer Boyett, Jr.; and brother Robert Hoffman. She was a native of Arkansas, attending Ole Miss, UALR, and graduated with a Masters Degree in Library Science from the University of Alabama.

She worked as a Librarian in Dardanelle, Arkansas, North Florida, and eventually became the Director of the White County Library System. Susie was a member of P.E.O. and the Hillcrest Garden Club. She also volunteered for C.A.R.E.

for Animals, Inc She had a love of good books, good wine, and good friends. For those who knew her, she will be greatly missed.
