Sue Erickson, 75, Fargo, ND, formerly rural West Fargo, ND, died on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018 at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo. Suzanne Carol Benson was born March 25, 1943 in Minneapolis, MN to Bert and Florence (Westby) Benson.

Her family moved to the Fargo area and Sue graduated from Fargo Central High School and later attended NDSU. Sue married Dean Erickson on Sept. 8, 1962 at Olivet Lutheran Church in Fargo.

They made their home on a farm North of West Fargo. She enjoyed going on long drives and would often pop in and visit with family and friends. She was a member of the Sheyenne Valley Rodeo Club.

She loved animals and especially her dog Tess. She was strong in her faith and was a member of Olivet Lutheran Church. Sue is survived by a sister-in-law, Audrey Gerhardson and several nieces and nephews, John (Denise) Johanneson, Mary (Jud) Miller Berman, Susan Johanneson Packard, Joel Johanneson, Christian (Alice) Johanneson, Julie Gerhardson, Joel Gerhardson, Krisanne (Dana) Mogck, Tim (Christina) Gerhardson, Thorey (Jay) Ellis, Jann (Keith) Monson, Lynda (Terri) Krueger and Becky (Wade) Benson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Barbara Drobick. Funeral: Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018 at 7 PM at West Funeral Home Chapel, West Fargo with visitation one hour prior.

Burial: Riverside Cemetery.
