A daughter of the late Albert Neven Knepp and Doris Gould Knepp, she was born August 18, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan. She was a long-time resident of Houston, Texas, and moved to Toccoa in 2018.

She was a retired human re manager and bookkeeper.
