Sydney Kay Weber, age 16, of Fox Lake, passed away December 15, 2018. She was born September 22, 2002 in McHenry to Lisa K. Jones and David W. Weber. Sydney was a sophomore at Grant High School in Fox Lake.

She was Baptized and confirmed a Child of God. Her faith in God was important to her. She loved animals, art, nature, and music.

Sydney was the light of her mother’s life. Sydney is survived by her mother, Lisa K. Jones; her father, David (Lisa) Weber; maternal grandparents, Terry (Beth) Jones, Kay (Bill) Huhn; paternal grandmother, Sherill Weber; Great grandmother, Darlene Tutt; uncles, Ryan (Kate) Jones, Danny (Jen) Weber, and Donald (Renee) Weber, along with many cousins. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Thompson Spring Grove Funeral Home, 8103 Wilmot Road, Spring Grove, IL 60081.

Visitation will continue from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 6000 Broadway (Rte 173), Richmond, IL 60081. Memorials in Sydney’s name may be made to Save-A-Pet, 31664 N. Fairfield Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030, would be appreciated by the family.
