Sylvia’s Obituary Sylvia Gayle Drylie, 81, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on April 28, 2019 in Old River-Winfree, TX. She was born on May 30, 1937 in Texarkana, Arkansas, the only child of J.C. and Johnnye Carroll. Sylvia was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown.

Sylvia spent many years as a bookkeeper for various companies. On November 11, 1989, Sylvia married her husband, Jeff Drylie. She was a member of Revive Church for the last 2 ½ years.

Sylvia was a loving mother and grandmother. Sylvia enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow and thrive in life. She was preceded in death by her parents, aunt, Kathreen Holmes, and grandson, Travis Pippen.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years Jeff, daughter Kathy Bunch and her husband Terry, daughter Dawn Anding, son John Mark Bosley, and daughter Heather Drylie, and her grandchildren, Chance Pippen of Baytown, Celeste Cooper and her husband Joe of Beach City, Steven Bosley of Baytown, Kyle Bunch and his wife Melissa of Beach City, Candi Bailey of De Ridder, LA, Danya Becker and husband Forrest of Beach City, Jeremy Anding of Old River-Winfree, Lacy Bosley of Dallas, TX, Caleb Anding of Seabrook, and Angelynne Drylie of Pittsburgh, PA and Seth Babb of Trafford, PA and her 21 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a large circle of close loving family and friends. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Deer Park Funeral Directors, 336 E. San Augustine, Deer Park, TX, at three o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday, May 5, 2019 with Pastor Jesse Puente officiating.
