Aaker, 53, of East Grand Forks, MN passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 after a long battle with breast cancer in her home town of Grand Forks, ND. She was surrounded by friends and family singing, smiling, laughing and enjoying life. Tammy Joy Aaker was born in Grand Forks, ND on December 22, 1965 the daughter of the late LeRoy and Joyce (Johnson) Aaker.

She was the second oldest of 5 children. Tammy graduated from Red River High School in Grand Forks and attended college at Aaker Business School. As a young woman, she enjoyed time with her children, aerobics, music, dancing and spending time in the sun shine!

Tammy had a “huge heart,” and always wanted to give and please the people in her life. She shared her love and beauty with everyone in her life. She is survived by her children, Jeremy (Kelly) Jondahl, Arizona, Joel (Jessica) Jondahl, Arizona, Jacob Jondahl, Arizona, Tasha (Carlos Ramirez) Jondahl, Arizona; her siblings, Jim Aaker, Josh Aaker, Michelle Aaker, Angela Holt-Aaker and Jason (Debbie) Aaker; an aunt, Conni Jo Wolfe (Aaker); uncles; cousins; nieces and nephews and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jason Aaker. Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2019 in the Historic Norman Funeral Home Chapel. Family Greeting: One hour prior to the service in the funeral home on Monday.
