Obituary for Tammy M. Martin Tammy M. Martin, nee VanScoyk, 44 yrs. , of Lake St. Louis MO. Passed away peacefully in her sleep.

She was born in St. Louis MO. the daughter of Patricia (Mealer) Mees of Columbia, IL and the late Clark VanScoyt of Camdenton, MO. , and Bob Mees of Columbia, IL.

Tammy was a very proud mother of two children, Nicholas B. Martin and Sarah E. Martin. Tammy attended Columbia High, then to Alton High where she graduated in 1991. Also Maryville University, St. Louis, MO.

, nursing program. Sanford Brown College, Granite City, IL. Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville.

Also American Academy of Professional Coders. She was then looking to finish her nursing degree. She worked as a Pre-Certification Team Leader at St. Anthony’s Medical Center.

Medicare Billing Specialist, St. Francis Health Center, Tulsa, OK. She was an auditor for the Doctor’s Hospital in Springfield, MO. , Certified Medical Assistant at Riverbend Physicians & Surgeons, Alton, IL.

, Senior Insurance Collection Specialist for Metro Heart Group of St. Louis, MO. , National Seating and Mobility, as a Reimbursement Specialist. Tammy enjoyed her last employment, she considered them all as close friends.

Preceded in death, Clark VanScoyt, Susan VanScoyt, Clinton VanScoyt, Beulah VanScoyt, L.D. Mealer, Violet Mees-Himstedt, JoAnn Williams and LuAnn Beck. Tammy loved her fur babies, Hannah, Violet, Cody and Cheddar. She loved most anything cat related.

She enjoyed reading a good book, camping and going to concerts. The feelings she had for Rob Thomas of Matchbox 20, well lets say there are no words. I am pretty sure she had been to most of his concerts.

The last one in Las Vegas she got to meet him and have her picture taken with him. And yes his music will be played at the service. Tammy would say to all of us to live life to he fullest, (one day at a time).

Love and be kind to one another, dance like no one is watching, and be true to yourself. Survivors are her grandmother, Dorothy Mealer of Columbia, IL. , her brothers, Jeremy Mees of Columbia, IL.

, Mitch Earleywine (Elana) of Albany, NY and Joe Earleywine (Susan) of Tacome, WA. Her sister Katie (Patrick) Koebbe of Belleville, IL. , Ray (Louise) Mealer of Cedar Hill, MO.

Her significant other, Todd Kopetzky, of House Springs, MO. Also nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A visitation for Tammy will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral and Cremation Center, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Charles, MO.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. also at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral and Cremation Center.
